As the Head of Violin, you're shaping the strategy and are directly responsible for the success of the Violin platform. Reporting directly to the company's CEO, these will be your areas of responsibility:
Artist Relations: tonebase works with the best artists in the world - you will use your deep professional network to onboard world-class violinists onto the tonebase roster. Further, you will maintain a professional relationship with promoters, managers, and other key players in the industry to further expand your network.
Content Development: It is impossible to cover any instrumental field in its entirety, and this is not what tonebase is trying to achieve. Instead, we make sure that every piece of content provides the highest amount of value to our user base. Backed by your impeccable understanding of the Violin Repertoire, technique, and years of teaching experience, you'll create a content strategy designed to cover highly relevant repertoire and applicable technical content.
Production: You communicate with artists to plan and coordinate productions. You are drafting and creating lesson outlines, helping the artist feel comfortable on production day, and ensuring that your vision for the content is realized in post-production. Most of the time, we produce in our production space in Pasadena, Los Angeles. In addition, you're also comfortable jumping in front of the camera and producing essential tutorials for the platform on your own.
Data Analysis: Using the analytics tools that the company provides to measure and report on the success of the content you're producing on the platform.
Marketing & Product Support: You work closely with Marketing (Led by Co-Founder & CMO Chris Garwood) and Product (Led by Co-Founder & CPO/CTO Abhi Nayar) to build the tonebase Violin product experience and create compelling "on-brand" marketing assets for social media, email, and YouTube.
