tonebase is the leading platform for online music education, featuring world-class content and live community events for musicians worldwide. We are seeking a skilled and passionate Live Host to lead and manage professional live streams and community activities for our audience.
We welcome applicants who specialize in any of the instruments currently offered on the tonebase platform: Flute, Cello, Piano, Violin, Viola, Voice, Guitar, Clarinet, Double Bass, and Trumpet.

Responsibilities
- Plan and Host Live Streams:
- Execute engaging, professional live streams for the tonebase community.
- Collaborate with the tonebase team to develop compelling live stream content.
- Ensure all streams align with tonebase’s mission and community expectations.
- Technical Execution:
- Operate and troubleshoot live streaming software (e.g., OBS, Streamlabs).
- Utilize professional-grade audio, video, and lighting equipment to deliver high-quality streams.
- Monitor and optimize streaming performance, ensuring a seamless experience for viewers.
- Community Engagement:
- Interact with the audience in real-time, fostering an engaging and welcoming environment.
- Respond to questions and feedback during streams, acting as a representative of the tonebase brand.
- Quality Assurance:
- Review and evaluate past streams to continuously improve technical and content quality.
- Ensure streams are accessible, visually appealing, and meet tonebase’s standards.
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical Expertise:
- Proficient in live streaming tools such as OBS, Streamlabs, or equivalent software.
- Experience setting up and managing professional streaming setups, including cameras, microphones, and lighting.
- Live Streaming Experience:
- Proven track record of running successful, high-quality live streams.
- Knowledge of streaming platforms such as YouTube, Twitch, or Zoom.
- Musical Knowledge:
- Master’s Degree in Music (or higher) from a recognized institution, showcasing expertise on your instrument.
- Strong understanding of music education and pedagogy.
- Organized & Detail-Oriented:
- Capable of planning and executing live stream schedules with precision.
- Attentive to audience needs and feedback.
- Interpersonal Skills:
- Comfortable engaging with a live audience and managing real-time interactions.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for community building.
